Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup KWERKY plant m*lk powder (mixed with 1 cup water)
  • ½ cup coconut oil (melted)
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • Zest and juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Handful of chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients:
    In a large bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking powder, and sea salt.

  3. Prepare the wet ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, mix the prepared KWERKY plant milk, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients:
    Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.

  5. Add chocolate chips:
    Fold in the vegan dark chocolate chips.

  6. Press and bake:
    Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until the bars turn golden brown.

  7. Cool and cut:
    Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting them into squares. Enjoy!
